About Us
DMAero, LLC (DMA), founded in 2012, is an ISO 9001:2015 and HUBZone certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides engineering services, system sustainment, and military modification support. We pride ourselves on a close working relationship with our customers, providing high-quality products and support, while minimizing cost. Our employees bring a broad range of experience, including backgrounds with major corporations—such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Motorola, and Northrop Grumman. Over one-half of DMA's staff are Veterans. DMA has a flat, highly responsive management structure. In our programs, there is never more than one person between our customers and senior management, who have the authority to commit the company. Our engineering management actively participates in all projects, ensuring our customers have continual contact with the highest levels of DMA technical management. We manage all projects in accordance with Project Management Institute processes and procedures. We have a consistent record of “Outstanding” or “Exemplary” customer evaluations, which we believe is a product of our detailed planning, consistent monitoring of project performance, and the daily interactions between our Program Managers and Chief Engineers, with our customers.
DMA engineers have designed everything from custom Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), to Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) solving Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues. We have integrated Commercial Off-The-Shelf/Non-Development Items (COTS/NDI) to provide technology insertion, while meeting evolving regulatory and mission requirements. Additional engineering services DMA performs include: Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V); engineering analysis; weight and balance; electrical load analysis (ELA); stress analysis; finite element analysis (FEA); and antenna co-site analysis. DMA's certified technicians are trained to AS50881, IPC, and JEDEC workmanship standards. In addition to skilled labor, DMA uses detailed work instructions for all of our engineering and manufacturing efforts. These documents capture the critical design requirements from the drawings, and task specific elements of the industrial workmanship standards to provide detailed step-by-step instructions for performance of our services and fabrication of our products. The work instructions compliment the drawings and are generated by Production Engineers and certified by Quality Assurance Engineers, which allows the flexibility to combine like tasks to maximize efficiency. They also provide for highly consistent products to be deliverd, by removing individual interpretation of the drawings.
